From concept
to measurement.
The collar form is a design direction. The V5 files preserve an earlier engineering study. These files do not establish a validated lab instrument.
The proposed lab collar
A sample identifier, local temperature history, handling events and an optical interface under evaluation. Fit, calibration and robot compatibility must be demonstrated for a selected vial and workflow.
No successful hardware run or clinical validation is established here.
Existing V5 development references
AS7341: spectral-channel comparisons using manually recorded references. Not a solubility or compound-identification result.
TMP36: local sensor temperature, requiring thermal characterization against the sample.
LSM6DS3: acceleration and demonstration handling events.
XIAO ESP32-S3: controller and USB serial output in the preserved demonstration firmware.
NTAG215: separately programmed passive NFC memory. It does not power the active sensors or continuously track location.
The preserved firmware uses demonstration identifiers and elapsed uptime. It is not an authenticated live sample-monitoring system.
The next engineering test
Select one sample and measurable output. Agree a reference method and acceptance criteria, then test repeatability, interference and collar packaging. Small-molecule optical applications remain candidates.
